The lecture on Thursday has been cancelled due to the strike of the school this week, and the strike will last until March, which is undoubtedly a piece of bad news. Fortunately, the tutor of CTL is still working, and our V&A collaborative project will be exhibited at the end of the month.
About this week's study
Due busy with the exhibition of V&A collaborative project, I also made a general plan for the video content of Unit2.1 this week. I want to make a video on sustainable design to show my research, but I don't think the sustainable design is a good design direction. Last week, I came into contact with the concept of sustainable design in the book The Shock of The Anthropocene. As for sustainable design, its purpose is to design objects, built environment and services in line with The concept of ecological sustainability. But I think some sustainably designed products are designed for design's sake and actually cause more waste. Although I haven't found a good article to support this point, I think it will be a research direction for my final video on Unit 2.1.
Summary this week
Obviously, this week I did not do a lot of research and study about unit 2.1, because of V&A participation our group should be in the form of collaborative projects make a big change, this is sad news, our original device is used to implement the plan as a result of the limitation of considering the site now had to turn to do VR games, this is a huge challenge for our team. But I hope all the problems can be solved next week because there is not much time left.
